Position: Science Teacher Location: Chatham

Are you an exceptional and inspirational Science Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a maternity cover for pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About Us

Our students all have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) with a primary need of SEMH. Many of our students have experienced challenging and fragmented educational journeys, often resulting in self-esteem issues and anti-social behaviour. Mainstream schooling is not always the most appropriate setting for them.

With small class sizes and a team of amazing staff who truly understand SEMH, we provide an environment where students have every opportunity to turn their lives around. We believe every child has the right to achieve, and we work closely with parents, carers, and other agencies to help each student make positive choices and changes for a better future.

What We Offer
  • An expanding SEMH provision with increased pupil numbers
  • A brand new, purpose-built academy opening in September 2025, offering further career progression opportunities.
  • A supportive environment committed to professional development and helping colleagues achieve their career potential.
The Ideal Candidate
  • An outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to achieve the best outcomes for all students.
  • A commitment to improving the life chances of young people, regardless of background.
  • Passionate about teaching and maintaining high standards.
Why Join Us?

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career in a supportive and dynamic environment. We are committed to fully supporting your professional development and helping you achieve your career potential.

If you are an outstanding practitioner with a commitment to high standards and a passion for teaching, we would be delighted to hear from you. Apply today and be part of our dedicated team!
