Are you a passionate Science Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of scientists?

TeacherActive are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Secondary Science Teacher to work within a supportive school based in South East Birmingham.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent Secondary Education qualification with a Science specialism.
• Have previous experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and a commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
• Be confident in planning and preparing their own lessons (although this is not essential).
• Hold a DBS Certificate registered to the Update Service, or be willing to complete a new Criminal Conviction check.
• Be able to provide two recent professional references.

This role is facilitated through TeacherActive, offering the opportunity to work on a contract basis with one of our partner schools, as well as flexibility to take on placements across South East Birmingham should you wish to explore different school environments.
