  • Participate in departmental meetings, CPD, and whole-school initiatives.

Science Teacher – Key Stages 3 & 4

Are you a well experienced science teacher or you have just gained your PGCE with QTS in Science? Why not give this great opportunity a shot!

We are currently seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school teaching students from Year 7 to Year 11. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real impact in a dynamic environment.

Key Details
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Contract Type: Long term opportunity, with potential to become permanent for strong candidates
  • To commence 10th of November or earlier
  • Location: Easily commutable from Greater Manchester, East and Central Lancashire, and parts of West Yorkshire, with traffic typically flowing in the opposite direction

Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Degree in a Science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Combined Science)
  • Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current educational practices.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • SEN experience not required but desirable.
