This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is organised, reliable, and keen to contribute to a positive learning experience for students studying Science up to KS5.

Role Responsibilities
  • Preparing materials and equipment for Science practical lessons (KS3–KS5)
  • Supporting class teachers and Science Technicians during demonstrations and experiments
  • Cleaning, maintaining, and safely storing laboratory glassware, chemicals, and equipment
  • Supporting stock checks, ordering of consumables, and lab organisation
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and safe handling procedures
  • Assisting with setting up required apparatus for A-Level practical investigations
Experience and Qualifications
  • A science-related background or laboratory experience is desirable
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to follow safety procedures and school protocols
  • Positive, dependable, and proactive approach to teamwork
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy environment

Training will be provided for candidates without prior school laboratory experience.
