Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to support secondary students in West London. This full-time, term-time role includes a September 2026 start, with daily rates of 107–120.

You will work with teachers and SEN staff to deliver engaging lessons and track student progress across classrooms. Requirements include a degree in any science subject and previous school or education-related experience, plus enthusiasm and a professional, friendly approach.

Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level in any science subject.
  • Have previous experience within a school or other education related experience.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and a professional and friendly approach.
  • Have knowledge and experience supporting children with additional learning needs.
  • School based experience preferred but not essential.

Veritas Education is partnering with secondary schools in West London to recruit dedicated and adaptable Science Graduate Teaching Assistants. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, supporting students' learning, building their confidence, and making a meaningful impact on their educational journey. Roles are full-time, term-time only, and available to start September 2026.

Responsibilities for Science Graduate Teaching Assistant include:
