The role will likely involve personally visiting approximately two different students a day at their homes for vital one‑to‑one tuition.

This rewarding role involves working with students away from the school environment, helping them re‑engage with education, build confidence, and achieve their learning goals.

  • Support learners across a range of abilities and needs, adapting teaching approaches accordingly
  • Plan engaging lessons aligned with each student's individual learning plan
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress
  • Work collaboratively with schools, families, and other professionals to support consistent learning outcomes
About You
  • Ideally a qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS); however, applicants with a strong tutoring or mentoring background will also be considered
  • Experience working with SEND would be advantageous
  • Flexible, empathetic, and patient, with the ability to build strong relationships with students
  • Access to a car would be an advantage unless already based locally
  • Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided)
Role Details
  • Start: January 2026
  • Duration: Until end of the academic year (with potential for extension)
  • Hours: Flexible – part‑time and full‑time opportunities available
  • Pay: Up to Classroom Teacher Pay Scale (dependent on qualifications and experience)

If you are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and are passionate about inclusive education, we'd love to hear from you.
