Job description

The School Organisation and Development Team is looking to recruit a School Admissions Officer to join the busy School Admissions Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the processing of applications and in-year transfers as well as applying the School Admissions Code and local arrangements such as the Fair Access Protocol. You should bring strong attention to detail, clear communication and negotiation skills as well as being a confident and competent IT user. You should value fairness, confidentiality and safeguarding and be keen to make a positive difference for children and their families.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a certain amount of travelling in the execution of their duties and to work flexibly outside of normal working hours to attend meetings and other events as required by the service.
