Are you experienced in supporting young people with SEMH and BESD needs? Do you want to make a meaningful difference in school settings while working within a supportive agency?

M&M Supply are looking for Support Workers to work across school settings supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Behavioural, Emotional, and Social Difficulties (BESD). This is a full-time role for the entire academic year, providing stability and consistency for students who need it most.

Your Role
  • Supporting students with SEMH/BESD to engage in learning and manage behaviour
  • Assisting in de-escalation using positive behaviour strategies
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCOs
  • Providing consistent emotional and behavioural support throughout the day
Requirements
  • Experience working with SEMH/BESD in schools, alternative provision, or youth settings
  • Confident in de-escalation and positive behaviour support strategies
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and resilience
Desirable
  • Trauma-informed practice understanding
  • Experience supporting EHCP implementation
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices
