We are looking for committed individuals from the local community, and from all walks of life and backgrounds to join our Schools Standards Board (SSB). You will share your viewpoints, experience, expertise, skills, and fresh ideas to enhance the opportunities for children and families within the community. The role is a four‑year voluntary position based at Warlingham Village Primary School, with excellent training and support; no education experience is required.
As an SSB member, you will contribute to and monitor the school’s development plan, focused on the key improvement priorities for the school. SSBs act as the Trust Board’s interface with parents, staff, and the community. You will gather feedback from parents and staff, develop and maintain community links, and provide regular feedback to the Trust Board on school performance and stakeholder views. SSBs also influence the strategy of the Trust as a whole.
