Job summary

Tinsley Meadows Primary Academy, part of Five Rivers Multi Academy Trust, is seeking a Caretaker / Site Supervisor to maintain a safe, secure and welcoming learning environment for pupils and staff. The role combines caretaking duties with compliance, site security, and day-to-day facilities management across the school.

The successful candidate will ensure buildings and grounds remain safe, compliant and well maintained, supporting sustainability and energy efficiency and enabling community use

Qualifications

• Experience in caretaking, facilities or premises management.
• Good understanding of Health and Safety legislation and safe practices.
• Willingness to undertake training and safeguarding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site security and oversee health and safety compliance.
• Oversee contractor supervision and minor maintenance tasks.
• Prepare facilities for school and community use.
• Monitor and maintain grounds and building defects.
