Are you an experienced School Site Manager looking for your next role? Academics Ltd are working with a fantastic school in the Gravesend area who are seeking a reliable, hands-on, and dedicated Site Manager to join their team from November.

The Role

As the School Site Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school premises, including maintenance, security and health & safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the security, cleanliness and general maintenance of the school site
• Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance work
• Managing contractors and site staff
• Ensuring health and safety standards are met across the premises
• Opening and closing the school buildings daily
• Monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies when needed

Requirements

• Previous experience as a School Site Manager, Caretaker, or Premises Officer
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations
• Practical maintenance skills (DIY, plumbing, electrics, etc.)
• Ability to work flexibly and use initiative
• Must hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS
• Must complete (or be willing to complete) Safeguarding Training
