Qualifications

• Significant experience in a facilities or site management role, preferably within an educational environment.
• A proven track record of managing maintenance, security, and cleaning services to high standards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety legislation and relevant compliance procedures.
• A positive, approachable attitude and ability to work collaboratively with staff, pupils, and parents.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor all health and safety requirements, including fire safety checks.
• Oversee all reactive and planned maintenance, conduct minor repairs, and manage external contractors.
• Act as a key holder and be responsible for the overall security of the school buildings and grounds.
• Supervise, manage, and motivate the site and cleaning staff.
• Work with senior leadership on site development projects and manage budgets for maintenance and supplies.
