You will oversee day-to-day premises management, safety, security, and contractor oversight to keep the site clean, safe and well-presented. The school values reliability, initiative and strong health and safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience as a School Site Manager, Caretaker, Premises Manager or Facilities Manager.
• Experience in a school environment is highly desirable.
• Good DIY and maintenance skills.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Reliable, organized and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the school site daily.
• Ensure building and grounds security.
• Carry out basic maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Manage health and safety procedures across the site.
• Monitor contractors and external visitors on site.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the grounds.
• Undertake routine inspections and report issues.
• Support with site setup for events and activities.
• Co-ordinate statutory compliance checks where required.
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues promptly.
