Henley In Arden School is seeking a reliable cleaning assistant to join our site team. The role includes opening the school, ensuring premises are safe for users, and undertaking daily cleaning across allocated areas.

Two shift options are available: early and late blocks, with a 30-minute lunch when applicable. You will operate cleaning machinery, assist colleagues, handle deliveries, and keep simple work records for the Site Manager.

Qualifikationen

• A reasonable standard of literacy and numeracy.
• Ability to carry out manual handling and other physical tasks.
• Good communication skills with staff, pupils, parents and contractors.
• Basic understanding of IT.
• Basic knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
• Experience with maintenance or DIY work.

Aufgaben

• Open the school site and ensure it is safe and ready for users.
• Perform general daily cleaning duties in allocated areas.
• Operate cleaning machinery and assist colleagues during shifts.
• Attend deliveries and distribute items to appropriate locations.
• Keep records of completed work for the Site Manager.
• Undertake required Health & Safety training and comply with standards.
