Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical support for science lessons and activities.
- Prepare, set up and clear away practical equipment and materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain and organise apparatus, chemicals and resources in line with Health and Safety procedures.
- Support teaching staff and students in the safe and effective use of laboratory equipment.
- Help manage stock levels, orders and the safe storage of materials.
- Contribute to the smooth running and success of the Science Department.
Qualifications
- A reliable and enthusiastic professional with a practical, hands‑on approach.
- Educated to a good standard (5+ GCSEs including English, Maths and Science or equivalent).
- Experienced in working within a laboratory or technical environment, ideally in a school setting.
