Job description

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for science lessons and activities.
• Prepare, set up and clear away practical equipment and materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintain and organise apparatus, chemicals and resources in line with Health and Safety procedures.
• Support teaching staff and students in the safe and effective use of laboratory equipment.
• Help manage stock levels, orders and the safe storage of materials.
• Contribute to the smooth running and success of the Science Department.

Qualifications

• A reliable and enthusiastic professional with a practical, hands‑on approach.
• Educated to a good standard (5+ GCSEs including English, Maths and Science or equivalent).
• Experienced in working within a laboratory or technical environment, ideally in a school setting.
