Job summary

A leading educational recruitment agency is seeking a School Receptionist to support the smooth running of the school office. The ideal candidate will have experience in a reception role, preferably within a school, and possess excellent communication and organization skills. You will be responsible for general administration duties, maintaining student files, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Immediate start available with regular hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a Reception role, preferably in a school environment.
  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one.
  • Right to work in the UK is essential.
  • 2 recent professional references required.

Responsibilities

  • General administration duties including correspondence and diary management.
  • Maintain accurate pupil information and files.
  • Monitor and follow up student attendance using relevant MIS software.
  • Meet and greet parents and visitors upon arrival.
  • Demonstrate commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing.
  • Assist external organisations and parents.

  • General administration duties including formatting and sending correspondence, diary management, and responding to student and teacher enquiries
  • Maintain accurate pupil information and files and ensure correlation to hard files
  • Monitor and follow up student attendance using relevant MIS software
  • To meet and greet parents and visitors upon arrival
  • To demonstrate a personal commitment to safeguarding and student/colleague wellbeing
  • Assist the needs of external organisations, contractors, and both prospective and current parents' enquiries
Requirements
