Job summary

Sayes Court Primary School, part of Bourne Education Trust, is seeking a Premises Assistant to help ensure the safety and security of the school premises and support the Senior Leadership Team.

The role is permanent, 35 hours per week across 52 weeks, with shift options and a salary in the range of £25,159 to £27,710 depending on full-time equivalent. The school offers a range of employee benefits and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Awareness and commitment to safeguarding of children.
• Relevant work experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Proven track record of ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a programme of site testing and inspections to ensure statutory compliance under the guidance of the School Business Leader.
• Identify issues quickly by carrying out regular inspections of all indoor and outdoor areas, providing written reports/action plans as required.
• Support an effective out of hours emergency system in place.
• Ensure the security of the school, including locking and unlocking.
