An opportunity has arisen for a School Premises Manager to join the team at Galliford Try within our Facilities Management business unit
As School Premises Manager you will be responsible for the overall provision of day‑to‑day repairs for the school site, including planned protective maintenance (PPMs).
Open and close the school each day, ensuring buildings and grounds are safe, secure, and ready for use.
Conduct daily checks on heating, lighting, and hot water systems to ensure full functionality.
Carry out minor repairs, make safe any hazards, and report urgent faults.
Conduct routine health and safety checks, including fire systems, emergency lighting, fire appliances, and water systems, and maintain accurate records.
Provide support for third-party lettings, and emergency responses outside normal hours, including weekends.
Provide cover at other schools across the project during staff absence or holidays.
