Job summary

Forge Valley School & Sixth Form in Sheffield seeks an experienced School Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operational and administrative services, enabling teachers and leaders to focus on delivering excellent education for pupils. You will work with the Head of School and central Trust teams, leading reception, student services, administration and support services.

The role requires substantial experience in school operations, strong leadership, and a qualification in school business

Responsibilities

Provide operational advice and support to the Head of School and senior leadership.
Lead day-to-day operational and administrative activity across the school.
Develop and manage operational staff, set expectations and support wellbeing.
Oversee reception, student services, administration, cover and reprographics.
Monitor staffing, absence patterns and expenditure; advise school leaders.
Oversee catering, cleaning services and school travel/logistics.
Coordinate health, safety, data protection and emergency procedures.
