Job summary

A reputable educational institution in Northern Ireland is seeking an Office Administrator to support their Secondary Department. This permanent full-time position involves providing professional reception services and managing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 GCSEs including English and Maths, alongside clerical experience. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential. This opportunity offers a starting salary of £26,694 - £27,960 per annum, with a working week of 36.25 hours.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grade C or above) including English & Maths or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year clerical/administrative experience using Microsoft Office.
  • At least 6 months experience handling confidential information.
  • At least 6 months experience working in a role dealing directly with staff/visitors/public.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a welcoming and professional reception service to pupils, staff and visitors.
  • Manage enquiries by phone, email and face-to-face.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential administrative records.
  • Assist with routine office operations, communications and scheduling.
  • Prepare and distribute documentation and correspondence.
  • Use Microsoft Office and school systems to support daily tasks.
