Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust seeks a registered nurse or midwife to join the School Nursing team in Stroud on a part-time, fixed-term basis (22.5 hours per week). The role includes induction, supervision, and digital health support for young people and families.

You will work in a diverse Children and Families service, focusing on safeguarding, health promotion, and partnership with public sector and community colleagues. Fixed term until 31 August 2027.

Job Overview

We are looking for a registered nurse or midwife to work part time with children and families in the School Nursing team in Stroud. This is a fixed term position 22.5 hours per week. We offer:

  • An Induction Programme, training and competency framework to underpin transition into role
  • Clinical Supervision, Restorative Supervision and Safeguarding Children Supervision to support professional practice
  • Digital appointments to young people and parents offering quick and easy access to health advice and support
  • Social media platforms and a texting service in response to requests of young people and families.
  • Diverse work in a skill-mixed team developed through robust competency and operating frameworks

A School Nurse is someone who is;
