Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting a Head Chef on a full-time basis (35 hours/week). You will lead a busy kitchen, ensure exceptional food quality, and drive improvements in service while maintaining budgets and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

You'll work in education catering, fostering a positive team environment and delivering engaging food concepts to customers across the site. DBS and safeguarding checks apply as part of recruitment.

Qualifications

• Hold City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Experience in a similar Head Chef role is essential.
• Demonstrate leadership and ability to manage budgets.
• Commitment to Food Handling & Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Head Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating an outstanding culinary experience.
