Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant on a part-time basis (20 hours per week, 43.8 weeks per year). You will join a team proud of its food, brand, people and opportunities to progress. The role demands teamwork, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety and hygiene.

You will help prepare meals, keep the kitchen clean, operate equipment correctly, assist with deliveries, and uphold Chartwells’ high standards and brand image.

We're looking for a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant who will be the heart of our operation for Chartwells on a part time basis, contracted to 20 hours per week. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness of the kitchen and surrounding areas
• Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
