About the Role

As School Medical Assistant, you will provide day-to-day medical and first aid support, assisting pupils who become unwell or require help managing their medical needs during the school day. You will work closely with school staff, parents and relevant healthcare professionals to ensure pupils receive appropriate care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing first aid and responding appropriately to minor injuries and illness.

• Supporting pupils with ongoing medical conditions in accordance with individual healthcare plans.

• Assisting with medication procedures in line with school policies and relevant guidance.
