School Librarian NJC Scale Point 12-17 (£28,598 - £31,022) Actual Salary (£24,688 - £26,781) 37 hours per week, 39 weeks (term time plus 5 days)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well‑organised librarian to lead the development of our school library here at Sir Christopher Hatton Academy. Your main priority will be to promote and foster a love of reading across our school, in keeping with our strong culture of valuing literacy at all levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library resources, supporting the Literacy Co‑ordinator with whole‑school initiatives, supporting the delivery of reading interventions and ensuring that the library is a welcoming, inclusive space for all of our wonderful students.
