St Joseph’s RC High School is seeking a dedicated School Librarian to support and promote a vibrant reading culture across the school. You will manage the library, encourage love of reading, and integrate literacy into lessons.
The post is permanent, 32.5 hours per week (8am to 3:30pm, term-time only plus 3 days). The successful candidate will contribute to a safe, inclusive space and support reluctant readers while aligning with the Catholic ethos.

The governors of this oversubscribed 11-16 Voluntary Aided RC High School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic school librarian. To support and promote the school ethos and vision with regards promoting a vibrant reading culture as a whole school priority. To foster a love of reading for pleasure and contribute to the improvement of literacy through developing the sustainability of the library setting and supporting reading lessons. In particular, intervening with students who need further support in these key areas
