Job summary

Chartwells Independent, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead a vibrant catering team in our education division. You’ll drive daily activity, monitor performance and guide staff to deliver high‑quality meals and outstanding customer service across the site.

The role requires proven catering experience (minimum 2 years), good people management, financial acumen, and IT literacy, plus a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge and experience of working with food.

• Proven experience managing successful teams in catering.

What you'll be doing:

As the KitchenManager, you’ll be the driving force of the team encouraging the team to deliver great things through leading and monitoring daily activity. You’ll be the one looking after the daily needs of the department, working with other leaders across the business!

You will be working with an amazing team of catering staff that are vibrant and outgoing and are welcoming to guidance and instruction. We are looking for a KitchenManager to join our team and continue the success in our business.
