Job summary

Chiltern Wood School in High Wycombe is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join the team at the Downley site. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will help prepare food and beverages and assist with lunchtimes to create a positive learning experience while safeguarding children.

Full training will be provided, and you may support midday supervision and occasional coverage at other sites as needed. The role emphasizes health, safety and wellbeing of pupils across 230+ students aged 3 to 19,

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; full training will be provided.
• Ability to work with children in a school setting and to follow safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of food and beverages to the school's standards.
• Support lunchtimes to ensure a positive and safe learning experience for pupils.
• Promote health, safety and wellbeing of children during meal times.
