Job summary

Highland Council is seeking a Cook 1 at Beauly Primary School to support daily kitchen operations. You will assist with basic food preparation and serving, ensuring compliance with Scotland's nutrition standards, and help with cleaning and equipment checks.

Hours are 12 per week, permanent role, with salary £7,319 - £7,399 per annum. A PVG check may be required and overseas criminal record check considerations apply for certain nationalities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the day-to-day operational requirements of the kitchen or dining centre, including basic food preparation, serving of all foods in compliance with the School Health Promotion and Nutrition (Scotland) Act 2007.
• Cleaning, maintenance and checking of equipment.
• The collection, reconciliation, and banking of Highland Council monies.
