Job summary

Olive Dining Ltd is seeking a General Assistant to support both kitchen and service areas in a school catering setting across London, Kent, Surrey and Essex. The role runs Monday to Friday, 09:30am–2:30pm, term-time only (38 weeks), at £12.71 per hour, with career progression opportunities.

You will follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures, work as part of a supportive team, and contribute to delivering fresh, nutritious meals to students and staff.

Qualifications

• Hands on approach.
• Understanding of good food hygiene and health and safety.
• Experience in kitchens, school meals, hospitality, or customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Support front of house and back of house operations.
• Carry out general kitchen duties, including cleaning, preparing food and snacks.
• Serve meals to students and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
