Job summary

Caterlink, the education sector catering specialist, is hiring a Catering Assistant at Kesgrave High School in Ipswich to perform a variety of food production and service duties. This role is term-time only, with no weekends, offering flexibility for the right candidate.

You will work 31.5 hours per week, around £12.71 per hour, across 38 school weeks per year, contributing to safe food handling, clean kitchen and friendly service while upholding Caterlink’s standards and welfare commitments.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
