Job summary

Impact Food Group (IFG) is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant on a FTC to join our school catering team at Heron's Moor Academy, Weston-super-Mare. You will work Monday to Friday, 9.30am–1.30pm (20 hours per week) during term time, assisting in food preparation, serving at the counter, operating the till, and maintaining hygienic kitchen and dining areas.

The role includes DBS checks, free meals on shift, holidays off, and opportunities for free qualifications and career development.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and friendly demeanour.
• Experience in catering or retail is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient and hygienic service.
• Assist in preparing food and snacks for the site.
• Serve customers at the counter and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy and safe at all times.
