Job summary

Chartwells Independent is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant on a part-time basis (25 hours/week) to be the heart of our operation. You will work with a team that takes pride in food, brand, and people, with opportunities to progress within a company investing in its people.

Shift patterns typically Mon-Fri (Full Time Days). Driving license and vehicle are required with mileage paid at 45p per mile. This role is contracted to 43.2 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Maintain high kitchen and surrounding area cleanliness.
• Ensure correct use of all machinery and equipment.
• Assist with loading/unloading deliveries and supplies.
• Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
