The Harrodian School Ltd is seeking a full-time Kitchen Assistant to join our busy school kitchen in London. You will support the Chef with food preparation, cooking and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Working days are Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:30, year-round on a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to carry kitchen equipment.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out the preparation, cooking and portioning of food to the kitchen’s high standards of quality and quantity.
• Washing and drying crockery; filling and emptying dishwashers.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen, including surfaces, walls and floors, sanitising, etc.
• Complying with all legal aspects implemented and monitored by the Food and Hygiene Regulations, Health and Safety at Work Act and Fire Regulations.
• Carrying out any other ad hoc duties appropriate to the role, as directed by the Deputy Chef or the Chef.
