Job summary

Berry Recruitment is seeking School Catering Assistants to support primary and secondary schools across the Stockport area. If you’re available during school hours, this flexible role is an excellent way to gain catering and education experience.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 9am–2pm with some flexibility. Duties include preparing and serving meals, keeping the kitchen clean, and upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

• DBS clearance required or obtainable via Berry Recruitment.
• Online training in Hygiene, Allergen Awareness, Safeguarding, and KCSIE provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food to students and staff.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness (washing up, cleaning).
• Serve food in a friendly, polite manner.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist with safeguarding duties.
