Caterlink Ltd seeks an Assistant Chef for St Mary’s Catholic Secondary, Bishop’s Stortford. You’ll ensure nutritionally balanced meals, maintain high standards of food quality, service and safety, and support customers with excellent hospitality.

The role is term-time only, 38 weeks per year, 35 hours weekly at £15 per hour, with DBS screening. Join a dedicated education catering team focused on fresh food and great student experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning, preparing and cooking meals to required standard.
• Strong focus on food safety and health and safety procedures.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare in an education setting.
• DBS disclosure will be obtained for this role.

Responsibilities

• Brief kitchen teams on menus and service.
