Job summary

Outwood Academy Ripon within the Outwood Grange Academies Trust is seeking an ICT Technician to ensure seamless digital operations across the academy. You will manage support issues for staff and students and maintain critical ICT systems to support teaching and learning.

The role requires experience in IT support, with hands-on skills in Active Directory, VLANs, and OS deployment. A strong focus on confidentiality, time management, and clear communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality ICT support to staff and students.
• Maintain and troubleshoot academy ICT systems to ensure teaching and learning is not disrupted.
• Assist with deployment of operating systems and software, and help with device deployments.

Working Patterm: 37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday , Full Time

Candidates should possess experience working in an IT support role. Practical experience with Active Directory and user account management is required, along with a good understanding of current software operating systems. Knowledge of network protocols and VLANs, and exposure to automated OS and software deployment techniques are essential.

Desirable experience includes anti-virus solutions, connecting mobile devices to centralized services, or working in a school environment. Essential skills include effective communication, respecting confidentiality/security, and demonstrating excellent time management.
