Chartwells Schools in Coventry is seeking a Head Chef to deliver exceptional school dining experiences on a part-time basis (30 hours per week). You will lead a kitchen team, create high-quality menus, manage stock and costs, and ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.

With proven Head Chef experience and a proactive, communicative leadership style, you will foster a positive kitchen culture, drive improvements in service, and represent Chartwells with pride across the education sector.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent required.
• Experience as Head Chef or in a similar senior kitchen role.
• Ability to communicate clearly and lead a team.
• Strong timekeeping and reliability.
• Safety-first mindset.

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Head Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a part time basis, contracted to 30 hours per week.
