Job Title: School Food Technician - Full Time (Croydon)

Location: Various Secondary Schools across Croydon

Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only (Monday to Friday)

Role Overview

Are you passionate about food, organisation, and supporting young people\'s learning? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic School Food Technician to join a number of inclusive and welcoming secondary schools across Croydon.

As a Food Technician, you\'ll play a vital role in assisting teachers and students during food technology lessons, ensuring a smooth, safe, and engaging learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, practical work and has a keen interest in food, nutrition, and education.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and tidy away equipment and ingredients for practical food lessons
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and stock control within the food technology department
• Support teachers and students during cooking sessions, offering guidance where needed
• Organise ingredients, resources, and displays for lessons and coursework
• Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning atmosphere
