Job Title: Food Technician - Secondary Schools (Across Bexley)

Location: Various Secondary Schools across the London Borough of Bexley

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time (Term-time only)

Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience

About the Role

As a Food Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of Food Technology lessons. You'll work closely with teachers to prepare practical lessons, maintain a well-organised and safe kitchen environment, and ensure students have the best possible learning experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and set up materials, ingredients, and equipment for food practical lessons.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in the food technology rooms, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist during lessons, providing practical support to teachers and students.
  • Manage stock, order supplies, and monitor resources efficiently.
  • Support the department in planning and delivering engaging food and nutrition lessons.
