Finance and HR Officer
Primary School - Greenwich
18 - 20 per hour Full-time Temp to Perm ASAP Start

Remedy Education are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance and HR Officer to join the team at an inclusive Primary School in Greenwich.

This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for a motivated and organised individual with strong administrative and finance skills. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the school's daily financial and HR operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across both areas.

The role
  • Manage the school's financial systems using FMS (Financial Management System)

  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and payments in line with school policies

  • Support payroll processes and maintain accurate financial records

  • Provide HR support including recruitment, onboarding, absence management, and staff records

  • Maintain and update data on SIMS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality

  • Liaise with external suppliers, staff, and local authority contacts

  • Assist the School Business Manager with general administration and reporting tasks

The ideal candidate will
  • Have previous experience working in a school office (essential)

  • Be confident using FMS and SIMS systems

  • Have strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and strong communication skills

  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS certificate

Details
  • Full-time, 8:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

  • Temp to perm position starting ASAP
