Job summary

Kellan Group is seeking a reliable Facilities Assistant to support a busy school environment. You will move and set up furniture for events and daily operations, assist staff, students and visitors, and help keep the site clean, safe and well organised.

The role requires practical, hands-on people with good communication and teamwork. Manual Handling training is desirable or you will be willing to complete it; previous experience is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving furniture.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in wherever needed.
• Manual Handling Training is required (or willingness to complete training).

Responsibilities

• Moving and setting up furniture for events, classrooms, and daily operations.
• Providing customer facing support to staff, students, and visitors.
• Assisting with general duties across the school site.
• Supporting the smooth day to day running of the school.
• Carrying out manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment.
