Berkeley Scott Recruitment is seeking a reliable School Facilities Assistant / Porter for a busy school in Wimbledon. This temporary to permanent role involves supporting day-to-day site operations, moving furniture, and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for staff and students.

You will work Monday to Friday, with responsibilities including opening and securing buildings, receiving deliveries, monitoring safety and health procedures, and assisting with traffic management and events.

• Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting and moving furniture.
• Reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures.

Mansioni

• Moving furniture and setting up rooms for meetings, events and examinations.
• Receiving deliveries, distributing mail and managing lost property.
• Providing professional support to staff, students, visitors and members of the public.
• Managing school gates during student arrival and departure times.
• Opening, locking and securing school buildings as required.
• Monitoring CCTV and reporting security concerns or suspicious activity.
• Issuing keys and security passes where appropriate.
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage and health and safety hazards.
• Supporting emergency procedures, including fire alarms and building evacuations.
• Assisting with traffic management and general site duties.
