Job Title

School Exams Administrator – Tunbridge Wells

Type

Full-time, Permanent (Term-time only, plus INSET days – 39 weeks per year, and up to 2 weeks during exam results period in August; additional time paid on claim)

Salary

Kent Range B (£25,126 per annum; actual salary £21,900.86)

Overall Responsibility

Assist the Exams Officer in the administration of all internal and external examinations, ensuring smooth operation, compliance with regulations, and the welfare of students.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support effective communication with exam boards, school staff, students, and parents, responding to queries and appeals efficiently and within deadlines.
  • Assist in ensuring the school complies with national regulations and guidelines and adheres to the annual exams budget.
  • Help publish and distribute exam timetables, procedures, and exam board information, including resolving timetable clashes.
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of mock exam timetables, managing conflicts as needed.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects and duties as required by the Exams Officer.
  • Contribute to safeguarding and the promotion of students’ welfare and personal care according to child protection procedures.
Qualifications
