Job summary

Burntwood School in London seeks an Exam Invigilator to support examination periods from January 2027. This casual role offers £12.71 per hour with variable hours agreed in advance.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, flexible and comfortable in a busy examination setting, with good communication and teamwork skills and a basic IT aptitude. DBS checks will be required as part of safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Reliable and flexible availability during main examination periods in January and May/June.
• Familiarity with the JCQ Instructions for the Conduct of Examinations is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to act as a reassuring presence in examination rooms.

Responsibilities

• Be reliable, flexible and available during main examination periods.
