Job Title: Art / Design & Technology Technician (Full-Time)

Location: Various Secondary Schools across Croydon

Contract: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Are you a creative, organised, and hands‑on individual with a passion for supporting students in their artistic and design journeys? We are seeking an Art / DT Technician to join inclusive and forward‑thinking secondary schools across Croydon.

As an Art / DT Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting both staff and students within the Art and Design Technology departments. You will assist in preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe, inspiring environment for creative learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and organise resources, tools, and materials for practical lessons in Art and Design Technology.
  • Support teachers in the setup and delivery of creative projects, ensuring lessons run smoothly.
  • Maintain and repair tools, machinery, and equipment, adhering to all health and safety procedures.
  • Manage stock levels, order supplies, and keep classrooms and workshops well‑organised.
  • Provide technical guidance to students, encouraging creativity and safe working practices.
