Job summary

Sodexo, supporting Churcher's College in Petersfield, is hiring a part-time Food Service Assistant. The role runs Monday to Friday, 11:30am to 2:30pm, term-time only, with a 15-hour week in a welcoming catering operation.

You will prepare service areas, serve pupils and staff with a friendly, efficient approach, maintain high cleanliness, follow food safety procedures, and support school events. DBS checks apply; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food service areas and ensure food is presented to a high standard.
• Serve pupils, staff, and visitors during meal services, providing a friendly and efficient service.
• Support lunch service, including working in the dining area or dishwash area as required.
• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene across front and back of house areas.
• Follow cleaning schedules and quality control procedures.
• Help create a welcoming and positive dining experience for customers.
• Adhere to food safety, health and safety, and workplace procedures at all times.
• Support school events and hospitality functions when required.
