Job summary

Hampshire County Council invites applicants to join the School Crossing Patrol Service and help children and families cross safely at busy times. You’ll be a calm, visible presence at crossing points, ensuring pedestrians are protected and traffic is managed with care.

This role runs 10 hours per week during term time (usually one hour in the morning and one in the afternoon). A uniform is provided, and you’ll be supported by a team committed to promoting road safety and making a real difference

What you’ll do:

As a School Crossing Patrol, you’ll take on a vital role in your community – helping children and families cross the road safely during busy school run times. You’ll be a calm and reassuring presence at designated crossing points, ensuring pedestrians are protected and traffic is managed with care and confidence.
