A School Crossing Patrol is required for School Road, Thornton. The crossing itself is directly outside Thornton Cleveleys Baines Endowed Primary. The hours are from 08:35 – 09:05 and 15:15 – 15:35 weekdays during term time, which is 38 weeks a year.

Payment is FLW, currently £13.45 an hour for a minimum of 5 hours a week (this varies at each crossing point). Uniform and training are provided.
