Job summary

East Sussex County Council is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our cover team at Battle. You will supervise classes during teacher absence, deliver instructions as provided, maintain a constructive learning environment, and keep pupils engaged and on task.

The role is part-time and term-time only (18.45 hours per week, 8.30am–3.30pm, three days a week). Salary is pro rata to the post; salary range £25,185–£26,403 per year pro rata with actual £10,150–£11,374 per year.

• Maintain a positive learning environment and keep pupils engaged and on task.
• Support colleagues as needed and adapt to situational demands.
